About Dagvane

One thing, done properly: Apache Airflow estates.

About Dagvane

Dagvane is a small US engineering practice that does one thing: keep other people's Apache Airflow estates running and get them onto a supported version.

Our clients are data and platform teams who inherited tens or hundreds of DAGs, a scheduler nobody tuned, and an upgrade that keeps slipping. Usually the estate feeds a warehouse, machine-learning jobs, or billing and reporting processes the business cannot do without, and the engineer who built most of it has moved on.

What makes us different

  • We only do Airflow. Migration, reliability and support for Airflow estates is the practice, not one page in a catalogue.
  • We are platform-neutral. Self-managed Kubernetes, Amazon MWAA, Google Cloud Composer or bare VMs. We resell nothing.
  • Senior US engineers, billed hourly. No offshore handoff, no fixed-price quote per DAG.
  • We write plans you can use without us. An assessment is a document your team can execute.
  • We tell you when not to migrate. And we keep what runs today running while you decide.

Name

A DAG is the unit of work in Airflow; a vane reads which way the wind is blowing. We read where an estate is headed and help steer it.
