How We Work

Senior engineers, written plans, no platform to sell.

How an engagement runs

It starts with a conversation

The first call is with an engineer, not a salesperson. We ask what the estate runs on, how many DAGs matter, what is failing, and what you are trying to get to. From that we agree scope, staffing and a timeline.

We bill by the hour

Time and materials, senior US engineers, as a project engagement or as staff augmentation. We do not quote per DAG, because per-DAG prices fall apart the first time a custom operator turns out to wrap three other systems.

We write things down

Assessments, migration plans and runbooks are written for your engineers. If you decide to do the work yourselves, the documents are enough to do it.

We are platform-neutral

We work on whatever your estate runs on: self-managed Kubernetes, Amazon MWAA, Google Cloud Composer, or a single VM. We are not a vendor partner, we take no referral fees, and we do not steer you to a managed subscription.

We say when not to migrate

Not every estate should move to Airflow 3 this quarter. Some should be frozen and shrunk, some DAGs should be retired, and a few teams belong on a different tool. We say so before anyone spends a quarter on an upgrade.

We stay after cutover

Stabilisation is part of a migration, and retained support is available afterwards from the engineer who already knows the estate.

Tell us what your estate runs on and what is hurting. The first conversation is with the engineer who would do the work.
